Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa has been in the news, especially for casting changes and people quitting due to alleged politics on the set. Now, after Gaurav Khanna’s shocking exit, actress Alisha Parveen has also been removed from Anupamaa. Alisha played the role of Rupali Ganguly’s daughter-in-law Aadya in the Rajan Shahi-produced series. Reacting to this shocking turn of events, Alisha Parveen has now claimed that she was ousted from the hit show without any prior information. Alisha Parveen also expressed shock over the circumstances and claimed she didn’t know why she was asked to leave.

Alisha Parveen took to her Instagram stories and expressed her shock over her sudden ouster. She also confirmed that she did not leave the show but was asked to leave by the production house. She also thanked her fans for supporting her during her journey as Raahi/Aadya in Anupamaa.

In an interview with ETimes, Alisha Parveen said, “It’s shocking and disappointing. I’m not sure what exactly happened or why I am being replaced! Today was my last day on the Anupamaa shoot It was a fantastic opportunity and everyone loved my chemistry with Shivam Khajuria. But I have no idea why I was suddenly replaced.

“I had a meeting yesterday and I was informed of this decision. I have no idea but it happens sometimes. I will now concentrate on my future projects,” she added.

The show’s producer Rajan Shahi and lead actress Rupali Ganguly have not reacted to Alisha Parveen’s departure from Anupamaa as of now.
