Some films starring Salman Khan are loved by his fans, while others are ones they’d rather forget – and it’s easy to see why. Even its biggest supporters would agree that some films just aren’t worth remembering. One of these films was released 17 years ago. The film was rejected by Preity Zinta and eventually had an American heroine. The film was a major failure at the box office, earning just over 12% of its budget.

The name of Salman Khan’s biggest flop film is Worry, released in 2007. It is a romantic musical comedy about an American actress, whose life changes completely when she makes a connection with India. Hollywood actress Ali Larter played the lead role in the film alongside Salman Khan.

Made on a budget of Rs 19 crore, the Salman Khan starrer earned only Rs 2.29 crore at the box office. In fact, it was a failure overseas as well, earning a little over Rs 1 crore internationally. Marigold became a box office disaster for various reasons. The film had such a negative impact that director Willard Carroll never made another film. In fact, this also sank the career of lead actress Ali Larter and she never featured in any Bollywood film again. The massive losses suffered by Marigold make it no surprise that the director left filmmaking forever.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is expected to make a comeback with Sikandarstarring Rashmika Mandanna in a central role. The film is scheduled to release on Eid 2025. In 2024, the actor was seen in cameo roles in films like Baby Jean And Singham again.
