Joe Jonas jokes he’s still waiting for Timothée Chalamet to respond to him after a year of no response

Joe Jonas keeps the receipts – the reading receipts, of course.

In a hilarious new TikTok video, the singer revealed he sent Timothée Chalamet a selfie almost a year ago. “Last December I sent Timothée Chalamet a text message from my friends phone while waiting for a response,” Jonas, 35, wrote in the screenshot of the text message he sent to the actor , which simply said “I miss you” alongside a selfie of Jonas.

The next slide of his TikTok post, set to the Ole 60 song “Thoughts of You,” featured a second selfie of the singer-songwriter. “As of December, he still hasn’t responded. Hope this helps!” he added.

“Check back with you next December for an update,” Jonas captioned the post, which fans flocked to to share their commiseration with the singer.

“He’s just thinking of a good answer, it will come soon enough,” one fan wrote, to which Jonas replied, “Good things can wait.”

Another fan commented: “I totally understand how you feel Joe. I’m also waiting for a response from Timothée Chalamet.” This prompted Jonas to respond with a sad face emoji.

And when someone pointed out that he at least had Chalamet’s number, Jonas hilariously replied, “I don’t have his number, my friend has his number lol.”

It’s unclear what exactly prompted Jonas to message Chalamet in the first place, but it’s likely he ghosted on his response for a bit longer. Chalamet had a 2024 banner that’s only getting hotter with awards season approaching.
