Centene Supports Above Annual Earnings Outlook, Launches 2025 Guidance

WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – Centene Corporation (CNC), a healthcare company, on Thursday reaffirmed its annual guidance for 2024 and launched its full-year 2025 outlook.

For the full year 2024, the company still expects adjusted earnings per share above $6.80. On average, 18 analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters forecast the company will earn $6.73 per share for the year. Analyst estimates generally exclude special items.

Centene continues to forecast annual premium and services revenue to be between $143.5 billion and $144.5 billion.

For full-year 2025, the company expects net income above $6.19 per share, with adjusted earnings per share above $7.25, which is above analyst expectations of 7.05 dollars per share.

Centene forecasts premium and services revenue for next year to be between $154 billion and $156 billion, with total revenue between $166.5 billion and $169.5 billion, in line with Street View of 166.51 billion dollars.

The company is expected to release its annual earnings report on February 4, 2025.
