Marius Borg Hoiby under investigation for ANOTHER sex offense: Son of future Norwegian queen suspected of FOURTH case after ‘raping woman’ at royal palace

The son of Norway’s future queen is reportedly being investigated for a fourth sex offense after it emerged Marius Borg Hoiby had breached his restraining order.

Former mechanic Borg Hoiby, often referred to as the “black sheep” of the royal family, is currently awaiting trial on charges of rape and domestic violence.

Norwegian magazine Se Og Hor reported on Wednesday that Hoiby was under investigation for a new offense that allegedly took place “a few hundred meters” from the Skaugum estate of Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit.

Local media outlet Dagbladet reported that the offense – which could range from sexually offensive behavior to rape – occurred while the alleged victim was present with a friend.

The Norwegian publication added that the friend is believed to be the same woman Borg Hoiby is accused of raping in Skaugum on September 26.

Borg Hoiby, 27, was arrested and charged with rape last month, before being released on November 27.

At the time, police said “an investigation had been opened into another case involving sexual offenses,” according to a translated copy of the press release.

Borg Hoiby’s lawyers declined to comment on the latest investigation into a possible fourth sex offense; Crown Prince Haakon’s stepson has previously denied rape accusations.

The son of Norway’s future queen is reportedly being investigated for a fourth sex offense after it was revealed Marius Borg Hoiby had violated his restraining order.

Norwegian media reported on Wednesday that Hoiby was under investigation for a new offense that allegedly took place “a few hundred meters” from the Skaugum estate of Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit.

The report comes days after it emerged that Hoiby – who is currently awaiting trial on rape and domestic violence charges – had violated a restraining order against one of his alleged victims.

Borg Hoiby allegedly contacted one of the women after she left a rehabilitation center in London, violating the terms of the order, according to Norwegian media.

It is unclear whether Borg Hoiby was arrested again.

His first arrest was on August 4 for assault, then he was arrested again on September 13 for another alleged assault and a third time in November for rape.

Late last month, Borg Hoiby was released after being arrested on suspicion of rape.

The 27-year-old – who has since been accused of a second rape – was banned from receiving visits and letters while in detention due to the risk of evidence tampering, NRK reported.

P.Police said Borg Høiby was released because they believed there was no longer any risk of loss or destruction of evidence.

Marius Borg Hoiby, often referred to as the “black sheep” of the Norwegian royal family, is currently awaiting trial on charges of rape and domestic violence.

At the time, police reportedly requested that Borg Høiby be detained for two weeks, but he was only detained for one, according to local newspaper Se Og Hor.

They also reported that he had received two new restraining orders.

Speaking about Borg Høiby’s release, his lawyer, Øyvind Bratlien, told NRK: “It was not surprising. He shouldn’t have been imprisoned at all. I think it was bad, I won’t say more.

Oslo police also opened an investigation into a new allegation of a sexual offense, for which he has not been charged, NRK reported. Details about the new allegations were not immediately available.

Borg Høiby is the stepson of the heir to the Norwegian throne, Crown Prince Haakon, and the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship. He has neither royal title nor official functions.

He was arrested last month in Oslo on preliminary charges of having “sexual intercourse with a person unconscious or otherwise incapable of resisting the act.”

A preliminary charge precedes a formal charge and allows authorities to detain suspects during an investigation.

At the time, police did not say when the alleged rape took place, only that “the victim must have been unable to resist the act.” Norwegian media reported that Borg Høiby denied the accusation.

“Marius faces serious charges, which the police and the judiciary will deal with… I am convinced that they will do a good job,” Prince Haakon told public broadcaster NRK before the detention order last week .

Regarding the second allegation, police lawyer Andreas Kruszewski said it was “sexual intercourse without consent with a woman unable to resist the act.”

Investigators searched and seized items at Borg Høiby’s home. The police investigation is ongoing and no trial date has been set.

Since his arrest, a shocking video of Borg Høiby has been shared with the Norwegian publication Se and Horwhich would show the former mechanic illustrating how he ended his relationship with an ex.

When he turned 20, the royal court announced that Marius was retiring from public life and his profile was removed from the family’s official website.

In the clip, Borg Høiby was allegedly asked: “How did you break up with your last girlfriend?” Shrugging his shoulders, he then leans towards the camera while making a slapping gesture with his hands.

It is unclear when the video was recorded, but it was allegedly posted in a group in Borg Høiby’s own network, which has around 50 people.

Borg Høiby’s lawyer, Bratlien, said his client was innocent and opposed his pre-trial detention.

Bratlien said he would appeal the detention decision, but welcomed the fact that judges had not granted the police’s two-week detention request. “We see this as promising,” he said in a written statement to NRK.

The rape charge comes after he was accused of battery following a late-night argument on August 4 in the Oslo apartment of a woman he was in a relationship with, police said .

Norwegian media reported that police then found a knife stuck in one of the walls of the woman’s bedroom.

Borg Høiby, in a later statement to the media, admitted causing bodily harm to her while under the influence of cocaine and alcohol and damaging her apartment. He said he regretted his actions.

Borg Høiby was arrested again in September for violating a restraining order.

When he was arrested last Monday, he was in a car with the alleged victim from the August incident, according to police.

Borg Høiby was raised by the royal couple alongside his half-siblings Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 20, and Prince Sverre Magnus, 18. Unlike them, however, he has no official public role.

The Norwegian royal family was rocked by Borg Høiby’s first arrest in early August, after a woman – Rebecca Helberg Arntsen – was hospitalized with injuries following an assault.

A week after his arrest, Borg Høiby admitted to assaulting Rebecca, whom he referred to as his “girlfriend” (his lawyers refuted this claim).

In a statement released through his own lawyer, Borg Høiby said he suffered from “several mental disorders” and had “struggled with drug addiction for a long time”, for which he said he was returning to his treatment.

The statement read: “Last weekend something happened that should never have happened. I committed bodily harm and destroyed items in an apartment while drunk on alcohol and cocaine after an argument.

“I suffer from several mental health conditions, which means that throughout my education and adult life I have had and still have challenges. I have long struggled with substance abuse, an issue for which I have received treatment in the past.

“Drug use and my diagnoses do not excuse what happened in Frogner’s apartment on Sunday night last weekend. I want to be responsible for what I did and I I will explain honestly to the police.

“For me, the most important thing is to apologize to my girlfriend. She deserved neither what happened that night nor the extreme pressure from the Norwegian and foreign press afterwards.

Mette-Marit’s eldest son also apologized to his family for his actions which “affected you greatly”.

A few weeks later, the 27-year-old was taken into custody after violating a restraining order.

The restraining order in question was intended to protect Rebecca Helberg Arntsen, who Borg Høiby admitted to assaulting in an alcohol- and drug-fueled attack on August 4, which saw him arrested for the first time and detained in a police cell overnight.
