The Chicago Bears promised big changes were coming, and those big changes have unfolded in recent days. Head coach Matt Eberflus relieved Shane Waldron of his duties and Thomas Brown took over as offensive coordinator.

Now the team has made another massive change by releasing veteran guard Nate Davis. Davis had just signed a $30 million contract in 2023 and will now have to find a new team to play for.

Davis started to fall down the depth chart and has been healthy this season. Although he has started for two games, he has failed to return to a starting position. The Bears attempted to trade him before the deadline, but neither team made a move on the veteran guard.
