The Kansas City Chiefs are once again counting on tight end Travis Kelce to be their primary target in the passing game. Despite a regression year, the star tight end still leads the Chiefs offense with 682 receiving yards on 80 catches. His connection with Patrick Mahomes has continued to lead this team, especially without a dominant running game to help their offense. Without their star linebacker, how can the Browns stop Kelce on defense?

Cleveland’s linebacker room has managed to do a great job of stepping up in the absence of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. The trio of Jordan Hicks, Devin Bush and Mohamoud Diabaté have each performed very well in the weeks since their star’s injury. Last week, the trio of linebackers combined for a PFF coverage grade of 71.0 against the Steelers. They’ll need to put in that effort and more if they want to eliminate the Chiefs’ primary receiving threat.
