Maharashtra cabinet expansion likely on December 15, oath-taking ceremony in Nagpur: Sources – India TV

Maharashtra Cabinet Extension: The Bharatiya Janata Party-led Maharashtra government is likely to witness a cabinet expansion on December 15, with the new ministers taking oath at a ceremony in Nagpur, sources said. According to reports, up to 30 ministers are expected to take oath at the event.

The week-long winter session of the state Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin in Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra, from December 16.

Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as chief minister with Shiv Sena chief Eknath shinde and NCP chief Ajit Pawar as his deputies in a grand ceremony in Mumbai on December 5. The Maharashtra council of ministers can have a maximum of 43 members, including the chief minister.
