Trump’s popularity is soaring as, for the first time, more Americans approve of than disapprove of him.

Donald Trump is enjoying unprecedented success with American voters, achieving a positive approval rating in a key poll average for the first time.

Trump’s favorable rating in the RealClearPolitics average reached 49.4 percent on Friday — with an unfavorable rating of 47.4 percent, about two points lower.

In all of the data going back to 2015, Trump has never seen a positive favorable rating in the polling average.

The milestone comes after Trump was named Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” and celebrated with his wife Melania and daughters Ivanka and Tiffany on Thursday, when he had the opportunity to ring in bell at the opening of the New York Stock Exchange.

He had spent his entire political career “underwater” in the rankings, meaning his “unfavorable” rating was higher than his “favorable” rating.

But his return to political power – and the stunning collapse and capitulation of some of his opponents – now puts him at the top.

Trump scored an impressive 312-226 victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the Electoral College after beating her in all seven battleground states.

This came after securing a victory in the popular vote – garnering just under 50 percent to Harris’ 48.4 percent.

While it may have fallen short of the overwhelming “mandate” Trump publicly claimed, it nonetheless made him the first Republican to win the popular vote since 2004. Trump prevailed in 2016 in the Electoral College while losing the popular vote against Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump earned a positive and favorable rating in RealClearPolitics’ average for the first time after winning a string of victories.

The period since his victory has put Trump in a position of power to announce cabinet picks, address world leaders and issue political statements from his Truth Social account.

He’s seen gains across the board, including financially, where his stake in Truth Social stands at about $4 billion, despite some critics calling the company a “meme stock.”

There are many signs that powerful figures have identified Trump’s ancestry. Since the election, special prosecutor Jack Smith has decided to drop criminal charges against him.

Federal judges agreed, with Judge Tanya Chutkan dismissing his Jan. 6 filing.

Trump received hero’s welcomes at events at his Mar-a-Lago club and even attended events like a UFC match at Madison Square Garden and the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris.

Trump even posted an image of first lady Jill Biden smiling as the two shared a conversation inside the cathedral.

He had a fireside meeting with President Joe Biden at the White House, and Biden promised an orderly transition.

He was warmly received by Republicans in the House and Senate. Even many of his more controversial cabinet choices have been well received by members of his party, although his initial choice of Matt Gaetz for attorney general imploded following sex trafficking allegations that Gaetz denies.

Trump’s “favorable” rating reaches 49.4% on average

Trump was named Time Magazine’s “Person of the Year” and rang in the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday.

Signs of resistance to his pick for Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, have evaporated, with Iowa Republican Joni Ernst saying she would support him “throughout this process.”

Trump’s favorable rating with Gallup reached a low point immediately after January 6, 2021, when it was only 34%.

He never exceeded 49 percent while he was in office.

As recently as June 25, in the RealClear polling average, Trump’s unfavorable rating was 54.9 compared to his favorable rating of 42.1, thus placing him “underwater.”
