Display and design

The Vivo Y300 5G features a 6.77-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant colors and smooth visuals. With a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, the screen remains easily visible even in direct sunlight. Additionally, the screen is protected by Vivo’s Diamond Shield glass, improving its durability. A punch-hole cutout houses the 8MP front camera, while an optical fingerprint scanner is integrated under the display for smooth unlocking.

Camera and audio

On the back, the Vivo Y300 5G features a dual camera setup. The main camera is a 50 MP Samsung S5KJNS sensor, paired with a 2 MP depth sensor for enhanced portraits. However, what really sets this phone apart is its audio capabilities. Vivo has collaborated with AAC Technologies to integrate a large speaker directly into the camera island, alongside the top and bottom speakers. This unique three-way speaker array delivers an impressive 4.5W peak power, promising a rich and immersive audio experience.

Performance and battery

Under the hood, the Vivo Y300 5G will come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, a capable processor designed for 5G connectivity and efficient performance. The phone comes in three RAM and storage configurations. This includes 8GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and a massive 12GB/512GB variant, catering to various user needs.

Battery life won’t be an issue with the Y300 5G, thanks to its beefy 6,500mAh battery. The device also supports 44W wired charging, ensuring fast recharges when needed. On the software side, it will run OriginOS 5 from Vivo, offering a user-friendly interface and the latest features.
