The suspects were booked for cheating and criminal conspiracy at the Sector 63 police station, and a large quantity of adulterated raw material used in manufacturing the protein powder was recovered from their possession. They were selling a 2.5 kilogram packet for around ₹8,500 by investing only ₹1,800 per packet. The suspect was selling the protein powder with the help of two leading e-commerce companies by calling it a genuine product.
