Veteran actor Mohan Babu recently clarified the status of his anticipatory bail application amid reports of its rejection. Speaking to social media platform He urged the media to provide accurate information on his situation.
On the social media site, he wrote, “False propaganda is being circulated.! Anticipatory bail has NOT been rejected and currently. I am under medical care at my home. I request the media to clarify the facts. “

The clarification comes after the Telangana High Court reportedly rejected his anticipatory bail plea in connection with an alleged attack on a journalist. The incident took place on December 10 outside his residence in Hyderabad, where Mohan Babu is accused of assaulting a journalist who was covering a family dispute involving the actor and his son, Manoj. Following the altercation, a police complaint was filed against him, leading to serious charges under Section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Earlier in He claimed he was trying to protect himself and those inside from potential danger when the reporter inadvertently became embroiled in the situation. The actor apologized to the reporter for any pain caused during the confrontation.
