Princess Kate reveals regret over key decision at memorable royal event

King Charles is expected to welcome 45 members of the royal family to Sandringham for a grand and unforgettable Christmas celebration this year.

Among the most cherished royal traditions is the family walking to church on Christmas morning, a moment that often attracts public attention.

During one such memorable outing, the family made headlines for their coordinating dark green ensembles as well as Princess Kate’s wardrobe regrets — a candid confession that left fans admiring her honesty and elegance.

However, it seems not everyone was thrilled with her outfit choice. Princess Kate, who looked stunning in a gray Catherine Walker coat paired with a green hat, heels and bag, later admitted she wasn’t happy with her outfit choice.

Speaking to 19-year-old fan Rachel Anvil, Kate admitted the heavy coat wasn’t ideal for the surprisingly warm weather that day. Despite her candid admission, fans loved her look, further cementing her reputation as a fashion icon.

Rachel’s mother told Metro: “Kate was talking to my daughter about the clothes and how she was too hot, she said ‘I really shouldn’t have worn that’, it was like talking to a friend .”

Two notable absentees from this year’s grand celebration will be the king’s estranged son, Prince Harry, as well as Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

According to a source close to the couple, they will not be traveling to the UK for Christmas as they reportedly did not receive an invitation to the gathering in Sandringham.
