Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Chief Executive Officer (EO) J. Shyamala Rao was sworn in on Sunday (November 17, 2024) as an ex-officio member of the TTD Board of Trustees at the Sri Venkateswara Temple.

In a brief ceremony held at Bangaru Vakili (Golden Threshold) inside the temple, Additional EO Venkataiah Chowdary administered oath of office and secrecy to him.

After offering prayers to the presiding deity, he also participated in Vedic blessings at Ranganayakula Mandapam and received a souvenir and prasadam.

Addressing the media outside the temple, Mr. Rao expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given to him to serve as a trustee and thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for entrusting him this responsibility.

Highlighting various initiatives undertaken by him in the last five months, he said more emphasis had been placed on improving facilities for devotees, improving the quality of Anna Prasadam and Laddus besides providing better services to common pilgrims.

Attributing the great success of the recently organized Brahmotsavams to the blessings of Lord Venkateswara, he also highlighted efforts to combat unauthorized agents in the temple town and expressed commitment to launch more social programs through the Trust Board in the future.
