Foodies bitterly divided over viral chicken tikka masala and chocolate recipe

Chocolate costs less than therapy and you don’t need an appointment – but some may seek professional help after this strange chocolate combination.

A man sparked a furious debate on social media after creating an unusual tasting chocolate bar – but rather than opt for a traditionally sweet filling, he packed it with chicken tikka masala.

German chef Singh Laly posted a video on social media of him preparing the sweet and savory combination – which sparked a very mixed reaction.

Singh started by pouring food coloring and white chocolate onto the bottom of the mold.

He then melted milk chocolate and poured it to completely cover the tray before letting it set.

Then it was time for his most controversial move: pouring chicken tikka masala into the mold and topping it with another layer of chocolate.

Once the preparation was complete, the cook removed the dense chocolate bar from the mold and broke the treat in half, revealing the chicken dish dripping from it.

Users were largely horrified by the strange flavor combination, taking to TikTok and Instagram comments to share their thoughts.

“There’s a reason he gave it to the cameraman and didn’t eat it himself,” one user observed.

“I think we humans need to stop thinking,” another joked.

Others thought it resembled Dubai’s viral chocolate bar, a traditional Arabic dessert made with grated filo pastry and sweet syrup and filled with pistachio cream, tahini paste and chocolate-covered knafeh dessert.

“Dubai chicken CHOCOLATEEEE,” one exclaimed.

“This Dubai chocolate is getting out of control now,” said another.

Last year, a This woman went viral on TikTok after sharing some of the bizarre meals her boyfriend eats when she’s away – including a sandwich made with frankfurters, ketchup and instant noodles.

Lucy Alice, who lives in London, made a TikTok video showing the horrible meals to her 65,000 followers.

She accompanied the clip, which has garnered more than 30,000 views, with a short caption that simply read: “Rating my boyfriend’s food, boys dinner.”

It was then time to make his most controversial move: pouring chicken tikka masala into the mold and topping it with a layer of chocolate.

The caption referenced the “girls’ dinner” trend that recently went viral on TikTok and involves women sharing plates of assorted snacks that together form a mezze-style platter.

Thousands of women around the world have participated in this trend, sharing the meals they prepare when dining alone or when they are unable, for whatever reason, to prepare a proper meal.

However, while “girls’ dinners” often feature appealing and consistent food combinations, the “boys’ dinner” alternatives Lucy shared in her video weren’t as appetizing.
