Dy’s classic car collides with a bicycle, 30-year-old man dies instantly

Raipur: A tragic road accident occurred in Chhattisgarh’s Balod district where a deputy collector’s car collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the death of a young man on the spot. After receiving the information, the police rushed to the scene.
A police official said the incident involved a youth on a bicycle coming from the opposite direction on the wrong side, when he collided with the car in Doundi area.
The motorcyclist, identified as Alakh Ram, 30, of Bogar village in Bhanupratappur, lost his life in the accident. The car belonged to Dilip Uike, a deputy collector currently posted in Bijapur district.
The investigation revealed that the car was driven by her parent who looks after her.
It is the same route and just 2 km from where an SUV collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, killing six people and injuring seven, mostly women and children.
The motorcycle hit the car from the side and fell onto the road, seriously injured. The authorities said that although the road is not prone to accidents and it is for the first time this year that accidental deaths are taking place, they will examine the reasons responsible for these fatal accidents.
