Bollywood actress Elli AvrRam is all set to make her Marathi cinema debut as the lead role in Ilu Ilu. The film is produced by Phalke Films Entertainment and directed by Ajinkya Bapu Phalke. The story and dialogues are provided by Nitin Vijay Supekar. According to the title, it is a romantic film which is scheduled to hit the theaters on January 31, 2025. The teaser of the film was recently released at an event in which star Elli AvrRam influenced and impressed the crowd, while she performed on the film’s romantic title song.

Ilu Ilu will see Elli essay the character called Mrs. Pinto, who is the central protagonist of the story. It is said that the actress gave her body and soul for this role. Although she didn’t know the language, she boldly and confidently took on the challenge of playing the lead role in a Marathi film.

Speaking about her early days in Marathi, Elli said, “I always wanted to learn new things. Having worked on films in Swedish, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada, I now have the exciting opportunity to explore the sensibility of Marathi as a language through the film Ilu Ilu. The character I play in this film is quite different from the roles I have played in the past. I will present myself to the public with a newer, remodeled look. When I was first offered the role in this film, I was a little nervous, but after reading the script and understanding the character, I realized that it was the perfect opportunity to make a breakthrough and that this awareness led to an affirmative answer.

With Elli AvrRam, Ilu Ilu also stars Veena Jamkar, Aaroha Velankar, Meera Jagannath, Vanita Kharat, Shreekant Yadav, Kamlakar Satpute, Ananda Karekar, Nishant Bhavsar, Ankita Lande, Gaurav Kaluste, Yash Sanas, Soham Kalokhe, Aarya Kakde Joshi, Siddhest Lingayat, among others.
