‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Star Alexis Bellino Leaves Show

Alexis Bellino has left “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”

The 47-year-old made her first appearance in season four of the hit Bravo series and left after season eight before making an appearance in a friend role for season 17 after a 10-year absence.

However, Alexis revealed she wasn’t asked to return for series 19 – filming would have started in January – and it didn’t shock her.

While guest hosting the ‘Going Rogue’ podcast, she revealed: “I haven’t been asked to come back next season.

“I can’t say it was a shock, it wasn’t a shock.

“It was a tough conversation… I guess I wasn’t really prepared (because) I didn’t think the contracts were going to come out – I thought we had more time… (So) it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked by this information.

However, his absence from future episodes was a “small relief”.

Alexis added: “It was a little relief.

“I mean, no one wants rejection, and no one wants (to hear) that you’re not asked back. But it’s happened to me before. This happened to me in season eight.

“Been there, done that!”

Many fans of the show turned against her following her feud with longtime housewife Shannon Storms Beador, 60.

The blonde beauty is currently engaged to the 60-year-old star’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen.

She also wondered how she would fit in given the tension between Shannon and the other housewives.

Alexis said: “I always thought there might be a way to get everyone back. But you know, the cards worked out the way they did.

“How do they bring back someone who is not a fan favorite rather than the fan favorite?

“And I understand that.”
