Erdoğan praises the resilience of the Syrian people, promises a better future

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan praised the Syrian people for their resilience in the face of oppression, in a letter he wrote for Syrians and which was sent to Turkey’s southern neighbor on Friday with 75,000 aid boxes .

“Together we will build the Syria of the future, filled with happiness, prosperity and peace,” Erdoğan said in the letter.

The letter, translated into Arabic, was placed in 75,000 aid boxes prepared by the General Directorate of Foundations of the Ministry of Culture.

Reiterating Turkey’s determination to stand in solidarity with Syrians, Erdoğan said they had resisted oppression and made history.

“You never despaired,” Erdoğan said in his letter, adding that Syrians always had faith in God and sought his help, which ultimately led them to victory.

The president went on to say that the Syrian people are behind the victory and he salutes and congratulates them.

Noting that Turkey has always supported its struggle against the oppression of the Assad regime, Erdoğan said the country would continue to support its struggle for development.

“Today is a better day than yesterday and I hope tomorrow will be even better,” he said.
