A Nigerian woman, Debbie Doowuese Ajom, has declined a job offer days after happily announcing on X that she was accepting the new job opportunity.

On December 15, an excited Debbie revealed on X that she had gotten the job.

“I got the JOB!” she tweeted.

Four days later, Debbie revealed she had declined the offer. She wondered how the employer expected her to write a 200,000 word novel for a salary of 80,000 naira.

She expressed disappointment with the job description, saying many of them are crazy, but few of them are homeless.

“I declined the offer.

“How can you tell me to write a 200,000 word novel for 80,000 naira? Many are crazy, few wander,” she wrote.
