Scarlett Johansson left speechless after husband’s ‘brutal’ joke about her

Scarlett Johansson made a special appearance in the latest episode of Saturday evening livewhere she had to listen to her husband, Colin Jost, make a joke about her age, their child and their sex life.

The 2024 Christmas edition of SNL, hosted by Only murders in the building Star Martin Short saw “Weekend Update” anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che doing their annual “joke exchange” on their segment.

The tradition often involves the two men finding new ways to embarrass the other by forcing each other to read jokes written by their comedy partner, which they have never read before.

Judging by this year’s efforts, it’s fair to say that Che may have gotten the better of Jost who was forced to read all the gags in a “black voice” before reading a quip that Kamala Harris still supports slavery reparations.

However, her next joke was the real surprise because not only was it about Johansson, but she was watching him backstage reading it, with cameras capturing her stunned reaction live.

“I want to dedicate this next joke to my darling, Scarlett Johansson,” Jost said, as the Black widow The star watched impatiently.

“Oh my God, she’s really worried,” Jost said, as he briefly broke character.

“You all know Scarlett just turned 40, which means I’m about to get out of here,” Jost said as the cameras cut to Johansson, who was both laughing and stunned.

” Shit ! No, no. I’m just playing,” he added, barely able to compose himself.

Things weren’t over yet for Jost and Johansson, as Che had prepared another joke for them, about their son, who was born in August 2021.

“We just had a child together, and you haven’t seen any pictures of him yet, because he’s black as hell!” Jost said as a Photoshopped image of himself and Johansson appeared behind him, while Johansson quietly sipped a glass of water backstage.

Surprisingly, the jokes weren’t over for the couple and the final pun Che had prepared for Jost was even more obscene than the previous two and might need an explanation that we can’t write here.

“Costco removed its roast beef sandwich from its menu, but I’m not tripping. I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid,” Jost said, prompting an eruption of laughter from the entire cast and crew, while Johansson had the looking genuinely shocked.

Fans were truly impressed by the lengths Che went to to embarrass his friend and his wife.
