Start quilting immediately

Today all the roads in Madurai city and outlying areas are in very poor condition. For example, New Jail Road is full of potholes and motorists find it difficult to navigate them. The Corporation should immediately proceed with patchwork on this and other roads.

Discharge all along the road

At Yanaimalai-Othakadai, on Narasingam Road, between the transformer located near a vacant land belonging to the HR & CE department and the transformer opposite Othakadai Primary Agricultural Cooperative Bank, waste is dumped at four places on a 300 foot stretch. Opposite the Co-operative Bank, for almost 50 feet distance, garbage is scattered along the road, creating an unpleasant smell and sight.

Apart from the public, senior officials who visit the Narasingaperumal temple and international tourists who explore the three archaeological sites located on Yanaimalai use this route. Regular disposal of waste will ensure hygiene and maintain the good image of this area.
