However, he admitted that he still smoked a pipe. In a conversation with Nana Patekar, Aamir shared that his biggest problem was his lack of discipline. Although he is very disciplined in his films, he describes himself as an “extremist” in other areas of life.

When Nana asked him if he was punctual on the set, Aamir confirmed, “Yes. For this, I am always on time. So I am not undisciplined when it comes to my films but in my life I am. Aamir said that he was also “very lazy”. Nana then asked Aamir about his “bad habits” and the actor shared on Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel, “I smoke a pipe. Now I I stopped drinking, but at one point I was drinking. And when I was drinking, I would drink all night.”

Aamir added: “The problem is I’m an extremist, so I keep doing what I’m already doing. This is not a good thing and I realize that. I also know I’m doing the wrong thing but I can’t help it.”

Calling himself “very disciplined”, Aamir said he doesn’t face these problems while making a film. To combat this, Nana Patekar told him to keep working. “I thought I would do one film a year now because otherwise I would do one film in three years,” Aamir said.

On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film did not perform well at the box office. The actor is now set to make his comeback with Sitaare Zameen Par. It will also feature Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh in key roles.
