This fanless mini gaming PC somehow manages to silently cool an AMD Ryzen 9700X

The more powerful the PC, the more heat it generally generates. That’s why it’s so impressive to see a silent mini gaming PC like this new Cirrus7 machine, which has absolutely no fans. Cirrus7, a German manufacturer specializing in PCs, has offered the passively cooled Cirrus7 Incus since 2019, but it has just announced a refresh to its lineup, with new Intel and AMD processors to choose from, including the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X.

As our Geekom AX8 Pro review showed, keeping a high-end PC cool in such a small space can be tricky, usually relying on high-speed fans to get the job done. The Cirrus 7 Incus, on the other hand, uses a special aluminum casing to disperse heat from the Intel or AMD processor used, keeping the PC quiet in the process.

This very powerful mini PC is available in several different configurations, but the new refresh lets you choose between 14th generation Intel Raptor Lake processors, such as the Intel Core i9 14900T, or the all-new AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors, such than the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X. The build itself uses a custom Mini-STX motherboard, with three different case designs that use metal cooling fins to help dissipate heat.

You can choose your own storage, RAM, and built-in wireless options, as well as your preferred operating system. For a gaming build, a good configuration would be to choose an AM5 processor such as the AMD Ryzen 7 8700G, which uses the same integrated AMD Radeon 780M GPU found in a gaming handheld such as the Asus ROG Ally X, which is capable of handling 1080p gameplay at modest settings.

Combine that with 16GB of RAM and a good-sized 1TB M.2 SSD for storage, using the larger extended cooling case design, and this Cirrus 7 Incus PC will cost almost $1,100. While that may seem expensive, the entire design of this mini PC is focused on having no fans, meaning it’s completely silent, or as close to silent as any electronic device can be.

If you’re tired of fan noise ruining the immersion during your gaming sessions, a completely fanless and passively cooled setup like this Cirrus7 Incus machine would be a good alternative. You can check out this mini PC for yourself by visiting the Cirrus7 website using this link here, where you can test build your own custom setup. The German manufacturer ships internationally, but you will need to confirm with the company about shipping outside the EU first.
