Summer house star Lindsay Hubbard is currently in great shape thanks to the birth of her first child. This comes after the reality star suffered major heartbreak from her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke. Now she’s speaking out about claims she monetized her pregnancy. Plus, she reveals exactly how much she made this year from brand deals tied to her new bundle of joy.

As fans will remember, Summer house Season eight saw the conclusion of Lindsay and Carl’s engagement. However, she quickly progressed and has since given birth to a healthy baby girl, Gem. The baby’s father, Turner Kufeprefers to stay away from the public.

According to PEOPLE, Lindsay recently appeared on the Trade secrets podcast. During her stay, she talked about it a lot, but the parts people discuss revolve around her comments about childbirth. Specifically, people are up in arms about her making money from her pregnancy. According to Lindsay, “people were very torn about it.”

She added: “They were like, ‘I can’t believe she monetized her pregnancy announcement.’ And it’s like, why not? I’m still going to make this announcement, why not take advantage of it? »

Regarding the pregnancy test announcement, she explained: “I used Clearblue, I used the digital test – it was THE test I used in April when I found out I was pregnant. So why not go to them and say, “Hey, I used your test, I’m about to announce my pregnancy, do you want to sponsor this?” »

Lindsay then added: “This is how I make my money. It was by far the biggest announcement of my entire life. At that point, I think it was the biggest deal (I’ve ever done). This tied into another deal I made in the spring.

THE Summer house The star also revealed that she made more than $100,000 through social media this year thanks to partnerships associated with her delivery.
