Kroger’s New Holiday Ad Makes You Cry Again: ‘So Adorable’

We’ve always been taught that sharing is caring, and Kroger is reminding everyone of that this holiday season.

The Cincinnati-based grocer released its heartfelt holiday ad on Instagram Wednesday morning. Much like last year’s ad, the sentimental snippet brought a few tears.

As the American song “Lonely People” plays in the background, the commercial follows a family of four playing in the snow and running errands, when the youngest child notices his elderly neighbor sitting alone at their kitchen table. While his family prepares dinner and festive snacks, the young boy steals food and brings a dish to his neighbor’s door.

When his parents notice this kind act, they decide to bring him dinner, which brings tears to his eyes before inviting the family inside.

“A little love can go a long way,” reads the caption.

Viewers reacted to the ad on social media.

“Who cuts (the onions)??” one person commented on Instagram.

“This gets to me every year,” another user wrote.

“This makes me cry every time, it’s so adorable,” someone else said.
