Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Parade and Game – January 1

Rail service will maintain the same frequency, with trains arriving every 7 minutes on the Red/Gold and Blue/Green lines. For this event, Blue/Green Line service will extend between Ashby Station and King Memorial Station. Additional trains will also run to help fans return home smoothly after the match.

Opposite polar course – January 4

Similar to the Peach Drop, trains will run every 7 minutes on the Red/Gold and Blue/Green lines. Service on the Blue/Green Lines will extend between Ashby Station and Candler Park Station. MARTA will deploy additional trains to meet demand after the race.

Security measures

MARTA Police Officers and Transit Ambassadors will be at train stations to assist passengers and ensure safety. Passengers are advised to avoid blocking train doors as this could delay departures. Suspicious activities can be reported through MARTA’s See&Say 2.0 app, available for download on the agency’s website.

Advice for riders

MARTA encourages riders to familiarize themselves with its services and download the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app to pay their fares using their smartphone. Parking availability and other transit tips can be found on the MARTA website. Passengers are also reminded to be patient, as trains and platforms are expected to be busier than usual during these events.
