The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) concluded its 60th campus placement program with a historic achievement, securing a national salary that reached a whopping Rs 26.70 lakhs per annum. This year has been one of the most successful placement seasons for the organization, with the program seeing a record 240 participating companies and the largest ever group of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs).

Taking on microblogging site ‘X’, ICAI Central Council Member (CCM) Dhiraj Khandelwal wrote, “This year has been a historic achievement, with the highest ever participation of 240 companies, the largest group of newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CAs), and record salary offers, making it the most remarkable placement season in the history of ICAI.

Huge 26.7 Lakh Domestic Package

According to Khandelwal, more than 8,000 newly qualified CAs have secured internships in some of the most prestigious organizations across sectors. The scheme achieved an impressive average salary of Rs 12.49 lakhs per annum, with the highest national salary package reaching Rs 26.70 lakhs per annum, offered by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).

“This exceptional success highlights the growing demand for chartered accountants across all sectors. While other professional degrees, including those from IITs, have seen slower placement trends, ICAI’s placement program has seen a significant increase,” he added.

Meanwhile, the ICAI CA 2024 final results were declared on December 26. Those who have taken the exam can view their results on icai.org, the organization’s official website. Candidates must provide their registration number and roll number to check their results.
