Several recalls have been issued in 2024 for Ford Motor Company vehicles.

Recall report data runs from January 1, 2024 to December 27, 2024. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) compiles data from National Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recalls conducted by automobile manufacturers.

USA TODAY has reached out to Ford for comment.

“We are constantly working to improve vehicle quality and provide the best experience for our customers. Voluntary recalls are a way to protect customers from known safety issues,” said Maria Buczkowski, a Ford spokesperson, in a press release. “We still have work to do, but compared to 2023, approximately 22% fewer recall notifications were sent to Ford customers compared to 2024, and that number is down 45% from 2022.”

USA TODAY’s auto recall database tracks car recalls by the manufacturer. The recalls posted on the webpage come from the NHTSA database. Additionally, the NHTSA website allows you to find car recalls by a vehicle’s VIN or VIN.

March 8: Recall for child safety malfunction

Ford Bronco recalled for child-restraint system malfunction.

Ford has recalled 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door vehicles. The automaker said the left rear door can be opened from inside the vehicle when the child lock has been activated, according to an NHTSA report. April 12: Recall regarding loss of drive power due to low battery

Ford has recalled certain 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2022-2023 Maverick vehicles. In the NHTSA report, the company said the body and powertrain control modules might not detect a change in the 12-volt battery. May 24: Recall for distorted rear view camera image

Ford has recalled certain 2020-2024 Lincoln Aviator vehicles.
