Repeat Dine and Race Offender Arrested After Third Offense: WHPD

A repeat Dine and Dash offender was arrested again after leaving the Hungry Crab in Winter Haven without paying his bill, police say.

Winter Haven police said Shane Wiley, 24, of Auburndale, spent five hours at the restaurant where he racked up a bill of more than $200.

As he attempted to leave, a stewardess approached him and he told the worker he had paid his bill before fleeing on foot.

Workers later posted photos of Wiley taken by the restaurant’s cameras on social media, and he was identified in connection with an earlier offense.

Police located Wiley at his home and he was arrested and transported to jail.

Wiley’s previous offenses include two other Winter Haven restaurants where he left a bill for nearly $500 and another for just under $300.
