Harley “Sylvester” Alexander-Sule recently opened up about his “crippling anxiety” and admitted he still feels “horrible” about canceling the band’s 2016 tour.

The 32-year-old British musician, who rose to fame as part of the band Rizzle Kicks alongside Jordan Stephens, admitted he “couldn’t imagine” touring after suffering a panic attack on stage.

Speaking to Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast on Wednesday, the star said: “I thought I was having a f***ing heart attack. Then we had a tour (that we) had to cancel because I just couldn’t imagine doing that,”

“I still feel really bad about it, but at the time I had to take care of myself.”

He then explained how his anxiety had taken control of his life and sent him into a “deep depression.”

He admitted: “This anxiety spilled over into everything, into every part of my life, you know, I couldn’t take the subway.”

“It kind of threw me into a pretty deep, deep depression.”

“Because what I love to do, being a performer, being an artist, being a person who loves being around other creatives, it felt like I was getting away from myself,”

“And I was sort of left with this idea of ​​who I was and this desire to be that person again, but with the physical inability to do it.”

During the podcast, Harley’s bandmate Jordan, 32, opened up about his girlfriend Jade Thirlwall, who he has been dating since 2020.

Revealing that he “manifested” meeting someone like her during the COVID-19 lockdown, Jordan said: “In lockdown. I wrote a list of what I was looking for, what I wanted.

He added: “I tried to manifest this shit. But man, I could show you this fucking list. Really, she just appeared.

Jordan also added that he became more open with his feelings after meeting Jade.

He said: “This is where my heart has never been more open.”

“I had a real understanding of what I wanted from love, something I hadn’t known for a long time, and she is more than capable of providing it.”

Earlier this year, Jordan admitted he got sober after “destroying” the relationships in his life before someone “set a boundary.”

The Rizzle Kicks star opened up about his experiences with drugs and alcohol during a candid interview on On The Mend with Matt Willis.

Jordan started dating Jade during the first coronavirus lockdown after she slid into his direct messages on Instagram.

Discussing how substances affected his relationships, he said: “Every time I go out and destroy myself with drugs, I destroy the relationships I’m in and it doesn’t really work for me, so I’m going to have to get sober and I did. .’
