Odell Beckham Jr. has the last laugh at the expense of everyone who thought he was stupid for taking his 2021 salary with the Los Angeles Rams in Bitcoin currency.

On Wednesday, Odell hopped on his Beckham signed an adjusted contract with the Rams and took the remaining money on his contract in Bitcoin.

The 32-year-old’s contract included a base salary of $750,000, including a $500,000 signing bonus and $3 million in bonuses he received after winning the Super Bowl with the team. In his tweet, OBJ showed how much Bitcoin had risen and asked who still had a problem with his decision.

“So who said taking my Rams salary in Bitcoin was stupid again?” Odell tweeted.

The 2014 Rookie of the Year’s tweet comes after Russell Okung made headlines for having part of his 2020 salary paid in Bitcoin. As a result, Okung turned $6.5 million into $20 million. Bitcoin prices have risen since President-elect Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election as he promised to enact a cryptocurrency plan, including incorporating a Bitcoin Federal Reserve.

Odell is currently signed with the Miami Dolphins and has five receptions for 32 yards and no touchdowns this season.
