Lindsay Lohan was asked where her twin was at the ‘Parent Trap’ premiere

Lindsay Lohan was quick to respond when asked where her “twin” was at the premiere of her 1998 film, The parental trap.

“Is it true that a Disney executive asked you at the premiere of this movie if your sister was there?” Andy Cohen » asked during the Wednesday, November 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohento which Lohan, 38, replied, “Yes. Michael Eisner.”

“(He said), ‘Where is your twin?’ I was so young I don’t even know how I thought I would say that, but I will never forget what I said,” Lohan continued. “I said, ‘Well, you should have paid me double because I don’t have any.'”

After receiving applause from the audience, Cohen, 56, joked: “She’s the daughter of Dina Lohan. Alright.”

Lohan played identical twins Annie James and Hallie Parker in the 1961 reboot. The parental trap. The film follows the sisters separated at birth and then reunited as they attend the same summer camp before their 12th birthday.

In the years since the film’s premiere, fans have been hoping for a reboot or reunion — and Lohan revealed Wednesday that she wasn’t opposed to it. When asked if she would consider playing Annie and Hallie’s mother in a reboot, Lohan replied, “I mean, if Nancy Meyers was part of it, yeah. I would never say no to Nancy.

The Parent Trap has left its mark on legions of moviegoers, including the film’s little leading lady. While the film premiered 26 years ago, Lohan continued to rave about her time on set. “There were such beautiful, beautifully written moments that were funny but just heartbreaking because it’s like missing that person in your life and then finally having that person,” Lohan said. Katie Couric during a virtual cast reunion in July 2020. “You forget…how much you miss people until you’re actually with them and you haven’t seen them in a while.” And I think those scenes really tear me up.

She continued: “Once I had long hair, it was very different for me. And I feel like – I don’t know if this is true for all actors – but once you put a wig on someone, you feel different. You step out of your comfort zone and you kind of become the other character. I feel like almost people treated me differently when I was Annie, because Annie was so much nicer and Hallie was kind of like me.
