Owner is nervous about introducing their pet to a new cat, but is unprepared for their response

A pet owner befriended a shelter feline while visiting a local cat cafe, so she adopted him. The reaction of her animals when she brought him home delighted Internet users.

In a viral TikTok video shared on Sunday under the username @lauragrayc, poster Laura Gray, 29, says that while visiting a cafe that helps rehome animals from a local shelter, she met the tabby cat, now known as Kiwi. , and they bonded immediately.

Having already adopted a cat two years earlier, Gray hadn’t considered getting another feline, but once she got home, she couldn’t stop thinking about the little Kiwi. So she prepared her house and then came back to get him.

Gray said News week: “I was afraid to introduce a cat to my other cat since I had never done it. I also didn’t grow up with cats, so I was worried and did a lot of research.”

As she drove him home, Kiwi kept purring and baking cookies, as if he knew he had finally found his family. He immediately loved his house. Then he met his new siblings and their reaction surprised everyone, even their owner.

“My other cat and my dog ​​immediately accepted the new cat as family. They get along so well!” Gray said.

While she initially planned to keep the cats separate for a while, seeing how comfortable they played together, she let them spend time together after a few days; Since then, they have been inseparable.
