TikTok ‘billionaire’ allegedly stabbed to death by mob outside nightclub

In Kenya, a student was allegedly stabbed and hacked to death by a group outside a nightclub.

On Sunday, November 17, a TikToker known as “billionaire Evance Akoko” was allegedly stabbed and “hacked” to death by a mob of motorcycle taxi drivers.

On the night of his death, Akoko, real name Sospeter Onyango Osungo, was with several friends at a nightclub in Kibera, Kenya. After offering to buy drinks for everyone in the establishment, he and his friends left and went to another club.

There, he and his entourage faced tension from local taxi operators in Bodaboda. The term bodaboda translates to “border to border” to describe how they ferry passengers across Kenya.

Witnesses reported that Akoko allegedly threatened the Bodaboda group with firearms. Intimidated, the group allegedly launched a brutal attack on the TikToker by stabbing and hacking his body to death.

Kenyan police are still seeking information about the bodaboda group that killed Akoko.

Akoko died instantly and was later taken to the morgue for further forensic examination. His friends were also seriously injured in the bodaboda attack. Fortunately, the “billionaire’s” driver was able to escape and alert the police to the attack. Their vehicle was then impounded as evidence at the local police station.

Following Akoko’s death, Nairobi Police Commander Adamson Bungei publicly stated that authorities were currently investigating the attack on the TikToker and his friends.

“Our department consistently opposes mob justice because it constitutes a criminal offense,” Bungei said. “A dedicated team is investigating to apprehend all the perpetrators. »

Akoko, 23, who was in the final year of her architecture degree at Kirinyaga University, often flaunted her wealth via social media by sharing posts about lavish outings and expensive cars.

Kenyan authorities are still searching for the group of bodaboda drivers who attacked Akoko and her friends.

Akoko’s brutal stabbing comes after the fatal stabbing of Instagram model Cindy Elizabeth Hernandez Perez. After Perez failed to pick up her son from daycare on October 4, she was found dead at her home in Monterrey, Mexico.
