Rupali Ganguly’s daughter-in-law has NOT responded to defamation notice, lawyer Sana reveals key details | Exclusive

Rupali Ganguly sent a Rs 50 crore defamation notice to her daughter-in-law earlier this month.

Rupali Ganguly’s lawyer Sana Raees Khan revealed that her daughter-in-law Esha Verma is yet to respond to the defamation notice. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Sana, who was also a part of Bigg Boss 17, shared key details about the legal battle. She mentioned that although Esha had deleted the viral social media post, she was yet to respond to the legal notice.

“She (Esha Verma) has not responded. However, she has deleted all defamatory posts and deleted one account following receipt of our notice, which is an admission of her wrongdoings,” Sana told us.

Sana Raees Khan further revealed that it was Rupali who decided to send a defamation notice to Esha after the latter dragged her 11-year-old son Rudransh. “Rupali decided to take this drastic step when her daughter-in-law maliciously called her 11-year-old child illegitimate and the matter escalated with continuous and constant defamatory and derogatory messages, thereby assassinating Rupali’s reputation ” she said.

The lawyer further expressed that it was important to send a notice to Esha, 26, and claimed that the latter’s allegations were “baseless”. “This was imperative, given that she was constantly posting defamatory and baseless messages, thereby attacking Rupali’s reputation and character. She crossed all limits by attacking an 11-year-old child and calling him illegitimate,” she shared.

Sana also revealed that the Anupamaa star was “deeply hurt” by the allegations and added, “The false and malicious allegations made by the daughter-in-law have caused immense emotional distress and mental anguish to my client.” These malicious and baseless accusations not only damaged his personal integrity but also tarnished his reputation. Such baseless claims hurt her deeply. »

Earlier this month, Esha, who is the daughter of Priyanka Verma, Ashwin Verma’s second wife, alleged that Rupali broke their house. She also called the Anupamaa lead actor an “abusive and toxic woman”. Later, Rupali also filed a defamation suit against Esha for Rs 50 crore, after which the latter deleted her post on Instagram.
