TEAMSTERS RATIFIED IN A BIG WAY THE NEW CONTRACT AT STANDARD FORWARDING

5-year framework agreement 92 percent ratified, including significant salary increase and benefits improvements

WASHINGTON, November 22, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Standard Forwarding Teamsters ratified a National Freight Master Agreement with an overwhelming majority of 92 percent. Covering more than 350 drivers, the contract provides significant pay increases, enhanced benefits and additional paid time off, setting a new benchmark for the freight industry.

“This is a phenomenal contract achieved through our unity, strength and determination,” said Scott Leedriver for 14 years with Standard Forwarding and member of Local 120. “In the face of current challenges, like inflation, we are excited about the pay increases, the security of our pension and the continuation of Teamsters health care. This agreement gives us confidence for our future. »

The five-year deal includes a 26 percent salary increase over the life of the contract, adds Martin Luther King Jr. This day constitutes a paid holiday, improves overtime pay provisions, includes two additional paid sick days, and preserves existing pension and health care benefits.
