Laura Vaughan’s MAFS Diary: Luke’s vile letter was blatant harassment – I understand why Amy’s final vows were wild

THE reunion show kicked off in spectacular fashion with a thrown drink, an explicit letter and a fiery showdown between two brides.

But that’s not surprising since Married At First reunions are never a quiet affair.

But it was Luke’s dirty confession that made me uncomfortable.

Now I understand why Amy was so wild towards Luke during their final vows.

Just for context, the couple split during last night’s final vows, with Amy abruptly declaring their marriage “dead.”

An upset Luke didn’t give up hope and sent Amy a turtle brooch as a birthday present after the show.

He allegedly sent her a note accompanying the gift, with a very rude last line.

Amy told the girls that Luke had written, “I wish I got down on my knees and terrorized your bitch.”

The shocking comment not only shocked me, but left viewers speechless and is downright disgusting.

If you’re as obsessed with Married at First Sight as I am, you need to keep reading, because I have some thoughts…

I see Luke sent Amy a letter with a gift in hopes of rekindling the romance, but in it he says his only regret is not “terrorizing your bitch.”

I can’t believe I’m actually saying these words!

It’s disgusting to send someone you’re no longer with that kind of letter and make them even more uncomfortable because they don’t appreciate the innuendo.

This is pretty blatant harassment.

I’ll say it now, I don’t believe him when he’s all sweet and innocent and he says “I don’t understand how this happened.”

I don’t believe it Luke, I think you’re here for the wrong reasons, I think you’re playing a huge game.

I don’t think you’re being as genuine and kind as you think you are because Amy has told you multiple times that she doesn’t like those comments, that’s how it’s been behind the scenes.

I totally understand why Amy was so wild with her final vows and why she showed up in black because that’s what this boy deserves.

For context, Luke told the boys that if she attended the meeting wearing it, there might be hope for them to rekindle things, but if she didn’t, it would seem game over.

Needless to say, Amy didn’t wear the jewelry and coldly rejected the present, with some viewers calling her cruel and cold.

However, when she revealed why she was so angry with him, opinions changed.

Amy recalled the contents of the letter: “I’ve been thinking about you. I miss you. I miss waking up next to you.

“He was like, ‘I keep saying no regrets. I keep having one regret. When you were cooking, I wish I got down on my knees and terrorized your bitch.’

“After that he said, ‘PS, write to me. I’d love to.’

The comment shocked almost everyone, with experts calling it “inappropriate.”

Hannah welcomed a reaction

We see Hannah walk in with Ryan and I’m not exactly sure what the point of that is because they make a big deal out of it saying they’ve made this really strong bond and then they walk in and say “no no no, we ‘are just friends’.

I can’t help but think it was just for show and to put the cat among the pigeons and to get a response and cause an argument between the girls.

I’ve been rooting for Hannah through all of this, but I feel like she’s stirring the pot and starting to get a little addicted to the drama.

I mean, own your shit and be confident – but I definitely found it pretty uncomfortable when she was showboating in front of Orson.

I think she was doing her best to help girls grow up – and with these girls, it doesn’t take much.

Holly is a bit rich in dictating what can and cannot be said

We see Holly really clinging to this “don’t talk about my kids” thing. Unless something was said that wasn’t seen, I don’t really think saying “Would you be willing to talk to your children the same way I was told?” spoken”, is that bad?!

Did I miss something?

Every time Hannah walks into a room she says “look what the cat dragged in”, so I think it’s a little hard to dictate what people can and can’t say, especially when it’s not It’s not even that bad.

They are only happy when they argue

But throwing a drink at someone is not acceptableCredit: Eroteme

It became the Polly show. Now Adam was so out of line to talk about their sex life or lack of sex life to the group and use it to make fun of her.

But we don’t throw drinks…it’s so aggressive.

We find out that Polly has been looking for Adam online, this has annoyed Adam – he thinks it’s all about him.

It just seems like the argument has really continued and they just need to let each other go.

It’s like they don’t argue, they aren’t happy and just want everything to be about them all the time.

Polly apologized for throwing her drink, because people have been kicked out of MAFS for doing that.

I mean, she had nothing left to lose at this point, but I think it was one last attempt at drama.

Laura’s verdict

It was emotional to see Kristina in tears as Kieran revealed he had been dating since the showCredit: Eroteme

During the ceremony, we witness a rather emotional reunion for Kristina and Kieran. She really does seem to still have feelings for Kieran and their relationship.

Last night Kieran told Kristina he had started dating again since leaving the experiment.

He admitted to having a short-lived romantic relationship with someone new, which lasted about three weeks.

But his confession left Kristina in tears, while experts said now was “not the time” to divulge the information.

I’m really sad that MAFS has ended for another year.

This has been a drama-filled season and I don’t know how they’re going to top it, because these contributors know how to make good television.

Whether they were there for love, I’m not sure, but they made for great television.
