Irene left the Bahati mansion a few weeks ago and Kenyans started asking questions.

How much did Irene Nekesa earn?

Some asked if she and the Bahatis had any consequences for not announcing her departure.

While working for Diana, Irene previously revealed that she earned KSh100,000 per month.

This revelation sparked debate on social media, with some envying his work.

“I have stayed with them (the Bahatis) for years and I would give them 90% for the love they have. They are good people… you stay with them and they show you how to make money .Another boss wouldn’t let me be where I am,” she revealed.

During an interview with commenter 254, Irene refused to reveal how much she earned at Diana’s.

She said it was confidential and a pact between her and her former boss. Irene said:

“This salary. Let me ask you, commenter, if I were to ask you how much you make in a month, YouTube pays you how much in a month, would you tell me? My salary story with my boss is personal. Sometimes you even lie to your friend.

How did Irène Nekesa use her salary?

The former house help has responded to Kenyans’ concerns as to why she did not save after earning a good sum from her former job.

She said she had various responsibilities as she took care of her parents, and her siblings also looked up to her.

“I sat down and thought about how I would make money. In this life, you have to think. Even though it’s YouTube, I didn’t have any money. The money I had, I paid a videographer, I also have a child and parents at home. People can plan your salary for you and only you know how to manage it. In a family of eight, you may be the only one they depend on,” she shared.

Irene shared that people compared her lifestyle to that of the Bahatis, without knowing that she was just an employee.

“People asked me where the money went…I wasn’t borrowing. They said that from mansion to beggar, it hurt me. Someone sees that Bahati has money and people think it’s my money People forget if you went to work and They agreed that’s the money you’ll get, that’s what they’ll give you, they’ll look in someone’s pocket. else and it’s theirs money,” added Irene.
