James M. Ferguson, II takes oath to represent District Four

Milwaukee, WI – On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in front of my friends and family, James M. Ferguson II was sworn in to represent Milwaukee School Board District 4.

“The Milwaukee Schools Board of Trustees is pleased to welcome Director Ferguson,” the board president said. Marva Herndon. “His personal and professional experiences, coupled with his unwavering dedication to our community, will be instrumental in driving positive change and supporting our mission of providing a high-quality education to all students.” »

Principal Ferguson brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the Milwaukee community, having himself been a proud student of Milwaukee Public Schools. He attended Westside Academy I & II and Milwaukee High School of the Arts, where he majored in music.

Director Ferguson is a family man, husband and brother with a background in entrepreneurship and a passion for lifelong learning.

President Herndon assigned Director Ferguson to the parent and community engagement committees; Student success and school innovation; and Strategic planning and budget. “Superintendent Ferguson’s oath of office marks an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to improve academic outcomes and meet the diverse needs of our students. We look forward to his contributions and leadership in District 4.”
