Lothian bus service diverted until further notice due to ‘anti-social behaviour’ on board at Musselburgh

Bus services have been diverted from an East Lothian route following “anti-social behaviour”.

Lothian Buses has confirmed that vehicles will not operate on MacBeth Moir Road in Musselburgh from 4.26pm on Thursday and will instead travel via Haddington Road and Levenhall roundabout in both directions.

The diversion concerns the 44 service between Balerno and Whitecraig or Wallyford. The travel company said the change was in effect until further notice.

A statement from Lothian Buses read: “Due to ongoing anti-social behavior, buses are unable to serve MacBeth Moir Road and are instead being diverted via Haddington Road and Levenhall Roundabout in both directions until further notice. »

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
