Drama actress Judy Ann Santos has recalled the negative comments she received when she was younger that almost caused her to quit showbiz.

In an interview in PEP, Juday shared that there were times when she wondered why she was in showbiz.

“Sabi nila mukha akong siopao. Sabi nila para akong aparador. Sabi nila nagkamata et ilong lang ako, pag ngumiti ako, buhay na siopao na ako. Tapos, pag tinitingnan ko yung sarili ko sa umaga, parang totoo nga“, she said, laughing.

There was a feeling that she wasn’t needed in the industry. She remembered the time when she felt tired and negativity was thrown at her. At her young age, she didn’t think that bad publicity was still publicity, and that really affected her.

It was the time when she said to herself: “Ayoko na! She also admitted that at the time she resorted to drinking alcohol. However, this would result in negative reviews.

At that time, she didn’t know who her real friends were. Then she decided to mingle with a small circle of friends and drink in private places.
