A group of Leicester players, including Harry Winks and Conor Coady, were spotted partying just hours after their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, who earned promotion to Leicester last season before joining the Blues in the summer, triumphed on his return to the King Power as goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez put the club in the top West London just one point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Leicester, meanwhile, after slipping to 16th in the table with their sixth defeat of the campaign, sacked Steve Cooper on Sunday afternoon, just five months into his tenure as Foxes boss.

Footage obtained by Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet shows Leicester players letting loose at Copenhagen’s Museo nightclub on Saturday evening.

Mail Sport understands Leicester players have traveled to Denmark to enjoy an early Christmas party ahead of the busy festive period.

In the video, Leicester players celebrate and party to the sounds of Kayne West’s All of the Lights while one person holds up a sign reading: “Enzo, I miss you.”

In footage obtained by Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet, a sign reading “I miss you Enzo” is held up in the air as players, including Winks (right), laugh and film the moment on their smartphones.

The sign, which bears the nightclub logo and appears to be a message to former Leicester boss Maresca, appeared to provoke several laughs and jokes within the Foxes camp, with Harry Winks smiling and filming the party on his cell phone.

In a separate video, Coady can be seen kissing his former England international compatriot as they enjoy the wild scenes at the nightclub.

According to Danish media sources, Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen were also present at the nightclub.

Leicester did not comment on the video when approached by Mail Sport.

An account on X, which posted the video, said: “I wonder what Leicester fans are saying about this? Lose at home and then some players go to Denmark to go clubbing? And the sacked coach too.

Cooper, who was sacked as Leicester manager on Sunday, was hired on a three-year deal last summer and is leaving despite leaving the club in the best position of the Championship’s three promoted sides last season.

The change in approach between Cooper and former boss Maresca is believed to have unsettled a number of players, while Foxes chiefs were also alarmed by the quality of some performances.

Leicester, whose next game is at Brentford on Saturday, will try to get a replacement through the door in time for the game at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Foxes could turn again to Graham Potter, who has discussed the position twice – after Brendan Rodgers’ dismissal in the spring of 2023 and after Maresca’s departure – without taking the final step.
