A new photo from Leicester City’s Christmas party in Copenhagen has been released showing the players in fancy dress.

In the photo, Harry Winks is dressed as Oompa Loompa, Daniel Iversen wears a Bob the Builder costume and Kasey McAteer is dressed as Laa-Laa from the Teletubbies.

Many players look slightly tired as they slouch in the bar at the Villa Hotel, where a standard room with breakfast costs around £350 per night.

The photo is believed to have been taken on Sunday, the same day Leicester sacked manager Steve Cooper after he failed to travel to Denmark with the players.

Leicester lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea on Saturday before a large group of players flew to Copenhagen to enjoy an early Christmas party.

Chelsea were guided to victory at the King Power Stadium by former Leicester boss Enzo Maresca, who left the East Midlands club at the end of last season after securing promotion from the Championship.

A group of Leicester players, including Harry Winks (behind the bottle) and Conor Coady (left), were spotted partying just hours after their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

Footage obtained by Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet showed players letting loose at Copenhagen’s Museo nightclub on Saturday night. Among the bodies on a busy dance floor was a sign with the message: “I miss you Enzo.”

The sign, which bore the nightclub’s logo, appeared to provoke several laughs and jokes within the Foxes camp, with Winks smiling while filming a video on his cellphone.

In a separate video, defender Conor Coady was seen kissing fellow former England international Winks amid happy scenes in the nightclub.

According to Danish media sources, Jannik Vestergaard and Victor Kristiansen were also present at the nightclub.

Leicester did not comment on the video when approached by Mail Sport.

A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the video with the message: “I wonder what the Leicester fans are saying about this? Lose at home and then some players go to Denmark to go clubbing? And the sacked coach too.

Cooper was sacked just 157 days into a three-year contract. He was dismissed when Leicester were out of the relegation zone.

Leicester have taken 10 points from their opening 12 league matches this season and are ahead of newly promoted compatriots Southampton and Ipswich Town.

In footage obtained by Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet, a sign reading “I miss you Enzo” is held up as players, including Winks (right), laugh and film the moment on their smartphones.

Leicester boss Steve Cooper (centre) was sacked on Sunday, just 157 days after he was hired.

But the change in tactical approach since Cooper replaced Maresca is said to have unsettled a number of players.

Leicester announced Cooper’s departure in a 104-word statement on Sunday.

It read: “Leicester City Football Club has parted ways with Steve Cooper, who is leaving his role as first team manager with immediate effect.

Assistant manager Alan Tate and first team coach and analyst Steve Rands also left the club. Steve, Alan and Steve leave with our thanks for their contribution during their time at the Club and with our best wishes for the future.

“Men’s first team training will be overseen by first team coach Ben Dawson, supported by coaches Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes, as the club begins the process of appointing a new manager, who we hope conclude as soon as possible.”
