Southern Charm First Look Hints at JT’s Unlikely Feud With Patricia

A recent overview of Southern Charm season 10 appears to offer insight into why JT Thomas leave the show.

The clip, which aired during Bravo FanFest in Miami over the weekend, showed JT, 39, in a rather awkward interaction with Patricia Altschul.

“Hi Miss Pat. I brought you this cane,” JT said in the video. Patricia, 83, replied: “I don’t need a cane. »

JT clarified that it was “just for looks” while the rest of the group laughed. Madison Le Croyhowever, did not find his comrade’s antics funny.

“Like, what the hell are you doing?” Madison, 34, said in her confessional. Patricia noted that she was “genuinely offended” by JT’s donation in his own confessional.

The Southern Charm cast has been entertaining Bravo fans since 2014, but sometimes their off-screen scandals and controversies overshadow their on-screen antics. “What’s next?” A wheelchair,” added Patricia. “I don’t know what he was thinking. This is a bit of a stupid gift in my opinion.

Venita Aspenwhose romantic relationship with JT was teased in the Southern Charm trailer late last month, also weighed in on its snafu.

“You don’t give a woman over a certain age a cane, even if it’s adorned with Harry Winston jewelry,” Venita, 31, said in her confessional. “I wish JT would have talked to me first, like he does with almost everything else.”

After this awkward moment, Patricia got up from her seat and walked away. JT could be heard in the background commenting on how she “refused my cane.”

“I wanted to say, take this cane and push it,” Patricia said as she walked away, laughing. In his own confessional, JT noted a certain “coldness in the air” between him and Patricia.

The clip moves forward two months to Craig Conover accusing JT of calling Patricia a “bitch” after the cane incident.

Craig replied: “Yes you did, you said she was a cup bitch when you handed her the cane. It was loud and clear.

A few weeks prior, JT took to Instagram and announced his resignation from the show as Southern Charm the cast continues to film the series. However, he did not give any explicit details about his departure.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have resigned from Southern Charm” he wrote on November 8. “Yesterday I informed Bravo that I will not participate in the remaining 2-3 interviews in the green room before the (season) airs on 12/5. I’ve done about 9 so far till today. I no longer wish to participate in any way in the advancement of the television show.
