This mac and cheese recipe is taking over TikTok — and once you see it, you’ll see why

Cancel your planned Thanksgiving side dishes and make this TikTok-famous mac and cheese recipe instead. (Trust us, your guests will thank you.) It’s simple and so good with millions views – and you’ll never want to make old-fashioned mac and cheese again.

TikToker Tineke Younger shared her famous recipe, which sounds truly heavenly. “How to make mac and cheese this holiday season Welcome to Thanksgiving with Tini where I’m going to teach you how to make EVERYTHING,” Younger captioned the video on TikTok.

Instead of traditional elbow noodles, this recipe calls for cavatappi pasta “because all the cream goes into the hole and you’re just biting into the pure cream.” Yum!

While the noodles are boiling, it’s time for the main event: the cheese! This recipe doesn’t call for one or two, but six blocks of cheese! The youngest grates cheese, which includes mozzarella, sharp cheddar and more. “You have to grate your own cheese, no negotiation,” Younger says, adding that store pre-shredded cheese often has a cornstarch film that will make your mac and cheese “grainy.”

She then makes a seasoning mix, pours half of it into the pan with a little flour and stirs. She adds condensed milk and other ingredients, mixing continuously. When it’s ready, she divides the cheese in two and pours it little by little into the mixture. The pasta and the second half of the seasoning come in next, which she incorporates Schitt Creek-style. From there, she pours the finished mac and cheese into a baking dish, covered halfway with shredded cheese and the remaining cheese sprinkled on top.

It’s finally time to bake! And, oh my goodness, when it’s done, it looks amazing – no wonder it has 58.9 million views! (BTW, she shared the same video last year, and it has 126 million views.)

Basically, everyone is going to be making Tini-style baked mac and cheese this holiday season. We wouldn’t be surprised if it was more popular than turkey!
