‘The Voice’ Coach Snoop Dogg May Regret Eliminating Aliyah Khaylyn in Favor of Terrible Performer

‘The Voice’ Coach Snoop Dogg May Regret Eliminating Aliyah Khaylyn in Favor of Terrible Performer

“The Voice” Coach Snoop Dogg’s Top 5 Candidates Christina Eagle, Aliyah Khaylyn, Austyns Stancil, Mikaela Ayira and Jeremy Beloate performed and competed against each other during the playoffs to secure a spot in the live semifinals of the NBC broadcast. Snoop had the three obvious choices among the top 5 contestants, but chose the terrible one.

Snoop decided to advance Christina and Jeremy to the next round and stole Aliyah’s deserving spot. Aliyah has more potential and nailed her performance on Whitney Houston’s song, “I Have Nothing.” She showed great control of her voice despite a terrible song for the playoffs. Snoop could also have chosen Austyns because of his angelic voice and range.

He notably stayed in falsetto throughout Prince’s song, “Adore,” and also added his own touch, proving perfect for the live performance. Snoop had two excellent choices in front of him, he chose Christina, who certainly had no chance of landing a spot in the finals. Snoop apparently chose a country singer over an R&B singer, which might be his biggest mistake.

Why should Snoop Dogg choose Aliyah Khaylyn over Christina Eagle?

Aliyah Khaylyn, contestant on season 26 of “The Voice,” had everything she needed for a live performance. The contestant’s stellar performance on the NBC show made her a fan favorite and her powerful voice proved that she was a fierce force to be reckoned with in the competition. She continually displayed her impressive vocal range and flawless control throughout, which was also complimented by the coaches.

Additionally, Aliyah’s playoff performance showcased her perfect pitch and she made every note shine. Aliyah’s technical skills and deep emotional connection to music definitely deserved a spot in the semi-finals. Plus, Christina may be a good singer, but she’s not good enough to compete in the finale. Snoop Dogg blindly believed in Christina from the start, becoming the only coach to turn his chair for her, but she wasn’t the contestant who could help him win the NBC show.
