Hollyoaks spoilers – Leela Lomax freaks out in secret baby story

Hollyoaks is set to air distressing scenes for Leela Lomax as she continues to keep her mysterious baby a secret.

Leela hasn’t been in a good mood since the birth of her baby daughter Clara, and even though Joel has settled into parenthood, she seems distracted.

It was recently revealed, in a private conversation with Mercedes, that Leela doesn’t believe Joel is the father of her baby, but she desperately wants to make sure he never knows anything else.

But Leela’s secret seems in danger of being revealed in upcoming scenes, when a difficult experience raises suspicion.

In scenes set to air next week, Frankie and Jack discover Darren’s missing business cards, abandoned in the woods. Worried about what this means, they set up a search party for him.

As the village gathers, Leela tries not to participate in the search. She finally arrives, but in the woods, she suddenly flees.

After the search, Frankie lashes out at The Dog and she urges the people around her to tell her the truth and stop trying to protect her.

Meanwhile, Joel is worried about his wife, so while helping prepare for his twins’ baptism, he asks Mercedes if she thinks something is wrong with Leela.

When he explains that Leela had a panic attack in the woods, Mercedes realizes and rushes outside. She tells Joel she’s going to see Leela and lets him lock up Casa McQueen.

Leela later lashes out at Joel, and the next day he tells Peri that he thinks he knows why his wife is acting strangely.

The couple is reunited when they both arrive at the church for the baptism. Joel is still looking for answers, but Leela doesn’t feel able to tell him anything yet.

HollyoaksThe new winter trailer reveals that Joel will confront Leela at the baptism, suggesting that she is cheating on him and questioning Clara’s paternity.

But what happened to Leela during the show’s missing year, and will she be able to tell Joel the truth?

Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday with its streaming premiere on Channel 4 at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same evening at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their release on Channel 4.
