Part of Spotify Wrapped’s charm is the mystery surrounding exactly when it’s released, until the day you open your app and are assaulted with it. Here’s what we know about Spotify Wrapped’s release.

When is Spotify Wrapped released?

The main question is always “When will Spotify Wrapped be dropped” and year after year the Spotify team drops it without notice on a different date, usually earlier than the previous year.

For example, in 2017 and 2018 it was released on December 6th. In 2019 it was released on December 5, in 2020 and 2021 it was released on December 1, and in 2022 and 2023 it was released on November 30.

If history continues to repeat itself, Spotify Wrapped will be released any day now.
