Tesla Cybertruck owners say they have ‘no regrets’ about purchasing the truck, with several saying they’re even looking into getting a second Cybertruck

Follow us today…

Over the past few months, we’ve covered several nightmare Cybertruck ownership stories. Some Cybertrucks needed a high-voltage battery replacement before their owner even drove them a single mile.

We also covered the story of the most unfortunate Cybertruck owner, who is currently on his second Cybertruck after his first truck broke down and left him stranded on the road four times.

Tesla gave him a replacement Cybertruck; however, the second Cybertruck was also bricked up. To fix the problem, Elon Musk had to get personally involved, and Tesla engineers had to drill into his Cybertruck and force open the window to gain access to the brick truck’s interior.

There is also the story of the individual who had to spend $13,404 and wait 3 months to repair his Cybertruck after a minor fender bender.

Several insurers in the United States and Canada deny coverage to Cybertuck owners, and there is one individual who said he doesn’t understand why women continue to make fun of him when he drives his Cybertuck.

Given all of these issues and many more that we’ve addressed since Cybertruck deliveries began, I was curious to know what Cybertruck owners think about their purchasing decisions.

Fortunately, someone trying to decide whether to buy a Cybertruck (Sirozha of Atlanta, Georgia) raised this question on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum, and he received over 75 responses from current Cybertruck owners .

Here is what Sirozha wrote…

“I’m about to place an order for a Cybertruck. I own two electric vehicles and haven’t driven an internal combustion vehicle for a few years now. So I understand what owning an electric vehicle entails, including long trips.

It’s not about owning an EV. It’s more about owning the Cybertruck. Does anyone have any regrets and would prefer not to have purchased it? If so, could you list your reasons?

THANKS.”

Sirozha’s question is simple but hilarious; The top response among Cybertruck owners is the famous meme with the misspelled “No Ragrets” sign.

As I detailed above, we’ve chronicled many of the issues Cybertruck owners have faced thus far; as a result, an ironic feeling of “no regrets” is to be expected.

That said, what’s surprising is the large number of Cybertruck owners who honestly say they have no regrets about purchasing the truck.

The most common sentiment among current Cybertruck owners is not only that they have “no regrets,” but that they are extremely satisfied with their trucks.

For example, in response to Sirozha’s question, current Cybertruck owner Wayne responds, “No regrets from this guy, even though SHE (my wife) made the purchase decision.” . I had planned to wait for the non-foundation version, but I’m glad we didn’t.

Another Cybertruck owner, Neil, responds: “Honestly, no. I have no regrets after 6 months of driving it daily, towing our camper, and doing random truck stuff. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Greg from Indianapolis writes: “No regrets here. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned! Jim from Central Florida agrees: “None.” It’s the best vehicle I’ve ever driven if you can get the Cyberbeast.

These are some of the people who say they are satisfied with their purchase. However, there is an even more fascinating group of Cybertruck owners who say they are not only satisfied with their Cybertruck, but are also considering purchasing a second one.

John from Washington writes: “I have no regrets. My wife and I are super excited about the truck. I’m a little tempted to buy a second one, so we each get our own. One Cyberbeast owner, “not_elon_,” agrees, writing: “I love this idea! No other vehicle is necessary.

Mark from Conway, Washington, writes: “If I had a good reason and could back it up, I would buy another one. Cybuano of Southern California agrees: “No regrets; in fact, I wish I could buy one more.

Even some of the few people who have expressed regret about buying a Cybertruck say it’s because the Cybertruck is so good that it has ruined other cars for them.

BeastiBoy from Connecticut writes: “The only unfortunate thing about owning a Cybertruck is that all the other vehicles seem ordinary and no longer appeal to me. I just sold my Porsche 911 Turbo and have another 911 that I no longer drive. I just want to ride the Cyberbeast every day now.

Jay from Atlanta writes: “No regrets, it’s a fantastic vehicle. The Cybertruck is my first electric vehicle, so I had a bit of a learning curve to do, but honestly it spoiled me for other cars. Electric driving is a game-changer; This makes driving my wife’s Honda CR-V ridiculous.

Even among the few Cybertruck owners who have expressed genuine feelings of regret, most of them are due to the fact that they purchased the dual-motor All-Wheel-Drive Cybertruck and did not upgrade to the Cybertruck More expensive three-engine Cyberbeast.

Brandon of Downers Grove, Illinois, writes, “I regret not purchasing the Cyberbeast instead of the AWD. But that’s all.

There are also a handful of people who regret spending $100,000 on a truck. For example, Michael from Wisconsin writes: “My only regret is that I was able to do many other things that would benefit both my future and that of my children. But I’m still a cash buyer, so withdrawing from my accounts is always a matter of thought rather than impulse.

Overall, the sentiment among current Cybertruck owners is overwhelmingly positive. That said, we’ve also seen some curious behavior from Cybertruck owners; for example, one owner said that despite eight service visits, Tesla could not resolve the problem with his truck; However, he added, “I still love my truck.”

There is also the question of whether a sunk cost fallacy could be occurring here. That said, please let me know what you think in the comments. Share your ideas by clicking on the “red”Add a new comment» button below. Also visit our website torquenews.com/Tesla regularly for the latest updates.
